On May 3, 2026, at 20:00 Beijing time, the second race of the 2026 World Superbike Championship (WSBK) Round 4 in Hungary took place. Valentin Debise, the No. 53 rider for Chinese motorcycle manufacturer Zhang Xue Racing, was forced to retire midway through the race due to a sudden mechanical failure on his bike.
This came just one day after Debise secured a victory for Zhang Xue Racing in the first race of the Hungarian round on the evening of May 2. It marked the team’s third championship win of the 2026 WSBK season. Both Debise (No. 53) and teammate Federico Caricasulo (No. 64) compete on Zhang Xue Racing’s self-developed ZXMOTO 820RR-RS motorcycles.
