Tottenham Hotspur and Nottingham Forest have reportedly initiated efforts to sign Roland Sallai, the Hungarian winger currently playing for Galatasaray. According to reports from HT Spor, both Premier League clubs have shown interest in the 28-year-old, but Galatasaray’s management is not considering a sale. The Turkish side appears determined to keep Sallai, valuing his contribution to the team.
Unless an astronomical offer arrives, Galatasaray will not enter any transfer negotiations for Sallai, who has become an indispensable figure for the coaching staff due to his commitment and versatility on the pitch. President Dursun Aydın Özbek’s administration is reportedly very satisfied with his performances, and plans are in place to improve his salary after the club’s elections on May 23.
Sallai has recorded 7 goals and 7 assists in 78 appearances for Galatasaray since joining from Freiburg in 2024 for a €6 million transfer fee. Currently valued at €12 million, his contract runs until 2028. Coach Okan Buruk aims to build the right-back rotation for next season around Wilfried Singo and Sallai, leveraging competition between the two players.
